Let’s stop the disheartening attempts to fix a broken system.
We don’t have to fix a broken system.
Rather we can and we will create a new system.
With the launch of #unifyUSA, we will accelerate efforts to emancipate all of us from the shackles of oppression.
We will liberate ourselves from a caste system that allows a small number of rich and powerful elite to oppress the majority of people living in this country.
We are here to free ourselves.
We are here to free ourselves from our broken and un-fixable government.
We are here to liberate our hearts and open our minds.
We are here today to declare that we are Inter-dependent.
Isn’t that the truth?
We are inter-dependent as a people! And we can unify to usher in a new era for our great nation.
Our call is for self and collective liberation—a Love-Centered Liberation that transcends political divides and unites us all in a common cause.
We are building an inter-partisan People’s movement.
Just three days ago, on July 13-14, the People’s 1st Convention was held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
At that interpartisan convention, we adopted the U.S. Declaration of Inter-dependence.
On July 14th, in a ceremony named the ‘Miracle of Milwaukee”, people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and circumstances began signing the Declaration of Inter-dependence. We declared July 14, 2024, the 1st National Day of Inter-dependence.
The Declaration of Inter-dependence allows the people of the United States to establish a new inter-partisan government to solve our current political crises and establish an effective, unifying government to ensure that all of us–our children, our grandchildren, and future generations–flourish.
We the people of the United States of America declare that we are inter-dependent with each other, with all of humanity, with all life, and with our Earth.
We commit to respecting the full equality of rights and dignity of all humans, all life, and our Earth.
We commit to respecting the rule of law as promulgated by a participatory, deliberative, and fully democratic government authentically created and overseen by the people for the people.
We commit to placing love at the center of our society for our collective healing, repair, justice and transformation.
We commit to live and work as a beloved community to ensure a better future for ourselves, our children, our grandchildren, and all future generations.
We invite all justice-hearted Americans to sign and commit to this Declaration of Inter-dependence.

As part of our new government to be established under an Inter-dependence Convenant, we will create a fourth branch of government to create new structures and processes for ensuring people’s across our country can engage through People’s assemblies.
This new structure will ensure that all Americans will have a direct role in our government.

Next week, here in Washington, D.C., #unifyUSA will join love-centered activists and movements who will be gathering for the People’s Festival!
Thousands of activists from across the country are descending on the nation’s capital from July 22-24.
The people are coming to Washington to raise our voices in love for justice and peace.
We call for the liberation of our brothers and sisters who are shackled and tortured by our prison industrial complex.
The new government we are co-creating will issue an Emancipation Proclamation 2.0 to decarcerate the federal, state, and local prison systems, reunite families, and provide healing for all.
We call for the safe use of technology so that we can liberate ourselves and our children from the harms caused by social media and digital addiction.
We call for the liberation of all peoples in the Middle East, particularly Palestinians living in Palestine. Yesterday the State of Israel slaughtered 49 souls in a genocidal assault. This is on top of the 200,000 souls that have been killed over the past 9 months.
We call for liberation from the unholy collusion between our government and corporations that are pumping carbon pollution into our atmosphere making our planet unlivable.
Are you feeling hot today? I’m sorry to say that this may be the coolest summer of your life!
If the climate emergency continues to be left unchecked, sadly it will be getting hotter and hotter each and every year.
These challenges are real. But they are not unsurmountable. We can and we must do better!

You can come to Washington next week to meet, connect, learn and build beloved community.
And you can build beloved community right in your own neighborhood.
Next week, we will be negotiating an interpartisan plan to rapidly catalyze the creation of local People’s Assemblies in each and every zip code.
These Local People’s Assemblies will allow for real democracy where the voices of all people are heard.
Then representatives from all Local People’s Assemblies will have the opportunity to create the first ever United States National People’s Assembly.
The National People’s Assembly will convene at the People’s 2nd Open Convention in mid-August. At that convention we will co-create a trustworthy process to identify new leaders who can unify the American people and ensure a smooth, rapid, and peaceful transition from the prior government.
But our journey is just beginning.
To usher in this next chapter of the United States, there are three simple yet profound actions to light this path forward.
First, read the Declaration, consider it, and commit yourself to a new vision for the United States by signing it.
Second, share this declaration.
And third, celebrate.
After you’ve signed it, print it, and share it with ten other forward-thinking people who, like you, are ready for change.
Your friends. Your family. Your neighbors. Share it at the community center, at your place of worship, at your work.
Lastly, celebrate.
Celebrate your signing with others through ceremony—whether it’s a peaceful walk through your city center or a joyous clamor of pots and pans in your backyard, or by posting the declaration on your social platforms.
Celebrate your commitment and the commitment of those you are connected with, and will be connected to exponentially as they sign, share and celebrate their commitment with their ten friends, and their ten friends, and so on. This movement is about manifesting a new way of life for all of us.
This is a people’s movement.
We are building a new way of life for everyone.
Each signature is a commitment to a braver, brighter future. The more of us who commit, the more power, love, and political reform we can bring to this nation.
We stand together, not as separate individuals, but as a united, unified front.
